Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• “Course” refers to any training delivered by MCSS / Reactive Suspension.
• “Attendee” refers to the person attending the course.
• “Booking” refers to the purchase of a place on a specific, fixed‑date course.
• “Cooling‑off period” refers to the statutory 14‑day cancellation window for online purchases made more than 14 days before the course date.

2. Booking and Payment

• All bookings are made for a specific, fixed date.
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking.
• A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed.

3. Cooling‑Off Period (Online Bookings Only)

• Bookings made more than 14 days before the course date include a statutory 14‑day cooling‑off period.
• If you cancel during this period, a £35 administration fee applies to cover non‑recoverable card processing and booking costs.
• Refunds are not available once the cooling‑off period has expired.

4. Bookings Made Within 14 Days of the Course

• Bookings made within 14 days of the course date do not include cooling‑off rights, as the training is scheduled to take place within the cancellation period.
• These bookings are non‑refundable from the point of purchase.

5. Non‑Refundable Policy

• After the cooling‑off period (where applicable), all bookings are non‑refundable.
• This applies regardless of personal circumstances, travel issues, illness, or changes in availability.

6. Transfer Policy

• If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place to another attendee.
• It is your responsibility to arrange the transfer and provide us with the replacement attendee’s details.
• Date transfers are not offered.
• No‑shows cannot transfer their place.

7. Course Delivery

• MCSS / Reactive Suspension reserves the right to adjust course content, structure, or delivery methods where necessary.
• Courses are delivered by experienced instructors using industry‑standard methods and equipment.

8. Safety and Conduct

• Attendees must follow all safety instructions given by instructors.
• We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or prevents effective course delivery.
• Removal for safety or conduct reasons does not entitle the attendee to a refund.

9. Instructor Discretion

• Instructors may refuse participation if an attendee is unfit, unsafe, or unable to engage with the course requirements.
• This includes physical condition, behaviour, or failure to follow instructions.
• No refund is provided in these circumstances.

10. Course Rescheduling by MCSS / Reactive Suspension

• In the rare event that we must reschedule a course (e.g., instructor illness, equipment failure, venue issues), attendees will be offered:
  • a place on the next available intake, or
  • a full refund.
• We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.

11. Course Materials and Intellectual Property

• All course materials, presentations, diagrams, and documentation remain the intellectual property of MCSS / Reactive Suspension.
• Materials may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without written permission.

12. Liability

• MCSS / Reactive Suspension accepts no responsibility for personal belongings brought to the course.
• Our liability for any claim arising from course participation is limited to the course fee paid.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Privacy and Data Handling

• Personal data is used solely for booking administration, course delivery, and safety requirements.

14. Complaints

• Any concerns or complaints should be submitted in writing.
• We aim to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
